Brainstorm Facebook Game
The Brainstorm Facebook Game begins tomorrow, July 13th!
How do you sign up? Easy, just start liking, sharing and commenting on our posts there. It's as simple as that.
Each like, share and comment will garner you points. Whoever scores the most points in a week wins $20 in store credit. It's that easy. See below for the original Facebook post to see how tie-breakers are handled.
No purchases necessary.
So what is the point distribution?
Comments = 1 point (Only your first comment will get you points and the comment must be germane to the post)
Like = 2 points
Share = 3 points
Checking in at Brainstorm = 5 points (You may only check in once a week)
Throughout the week we will announce other ways to garner points.
We do have our first rule change--you will not need to share the original post announcing the game. Hope you guys and gals have as much as we do with this.
ORIGINAL POST
READ THE WHOLE POST--IMPORTANT INFO THROUGHOUT
Starting Monday July 13th, the game begins. You, yes YOU, will have an opportunity to win a $20 gift certificate each week of the contest!
How much does it cost? FREE! NADA! NIL! ZILCH!
That's right, absolutely nothing.
How do you participate? As easy as what you're doing right now, using Facebook. Like, share and comment on Brainstorm's posts. Each will garner you points. Point distribution will be explained this Friday. Points can only be gained for your first like, share or comment--six comments doesn’t get you 6x the points.
In the event of a tie in points, there will be a raffle between those who tied. The winner will be announced (where else?) here on Facebook. The top point getter of the month will receive additional swag. A tie for the monthly tally will result in a tie-breaker.
Points for the next week will revert back to zero to allow new players the opportunity to participate as well.
In order to make it easier to track, all comments, shares, likes must occur the day of the post (eastern standard time). Prizes must be collected in-store within 7 days of the winner being announced.
RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON ISSUES THAT MAY OCCUR

Brainstorm Comics Question of the Day: LIKE the post once you know the answer. Start sharing your answers at 6 pm. Today's question relates to the Man of Steel, Superman. This character was born/created on the planet Krypton through an accelerated evolutionary process. A baby was sent into the planet's harsh environment, dying immediately. The scientist Bertron retrieved the remains and cloned the specimen, repeating the process which allowed the creature to develop an immunity to Krypton's deadly natural state. The creature could self-evolve at this point, becoming a force of death and destruction. Eventually he would kill the Man of Steel himself. Who is the character?
